Chiang Mai Elephant Home is an ethical and sustainable eco-tourism project, located in a village surrounded by mountains and national park nearby. We have talked with the elephant careers (Mahout) and invited them to join our project. We do not agree in Elephant Riding and Elephant Performances. Visitors can observe or participate with the elephants in nature, walking feeding, bathing ad planning with them close up. We aim to provide a better life for the elephant by providing them a safe, loving and secure environment for them to roam free in a natural environment. We provide enough food for them each day. We also plant banana, corn, hay etc.., our agricultural products are bought from the local community. We work hard to get a balance offering a worthy experience to our visitors and sharing our love for the elephants, elephant care takers, environment and community.
Half Day Experience (1,700 baht/person)
Morning: 7:00-7:30AM. Return to your hotel 1.00-1.30
Afternoon: 12.00-12.30PM. Return to your hotel 5.30-6.30PM
- Visit Local market where you can get some coffee.
- Make vitamin Balls for your Elephants.
- Help our staffs to feed the food (Bananas, Sugars canes, Grasses, etc..)
- Mud Spa, Bathing your Elephants,
- Buffet Lunch and Fruits and water
- Enjoin at the waterfall

Return time: 5:00 – 5.30 pm
